In the early 80's there was a teen dance show in Austin called "Jam City". Youth from all over Austin would converge on a studio in South Austin to film a "Soul Train" type of show. When I moved here from Los Angeles, I became one of those teens. The following week we would crowd around the TV to see ourselves dance.
There was nothing like this for teens in California.
It turned a new comer like me into a local celebrity among my peers. This show happened BEFORE You Tube, and The Internet. Plain and simple, it was 30 years before it's time. Third Cousins Media is producing a show with the very DNA of "Jam City". We are looking for high school age teenagers who can dance, have a great personality, a unique look and want to be a part of something we believe will be special. We have cast all of the host positions as of now.
